Cancellation Policy
This policy explains when and how you can cancel tournament registrations, subscriptions, and your account on EsportsChamp.
Tournament Cancellation
Classic & Arena Tournaments
No cancellation once registered. Entry fees (coins) are deducted at registration and are non-refundable. If you do not join the room by match time, you are disqualified — no coin return.
Platform-cancelled tournaments: If our admin team cancels a tournament (insufficient participants, server error, or emergency), all entry fees are automatically returned to your coin wallet.
Multi-Stage Bracket Tournaments
Leave before Round 1 stage starts:You can exit a multi-stage tournament and receive a coin refund as long as your Round 1 stage has not yet started and the overall tournament is still in 'upcoming' status. Use the Leave button on the tournament detail screen.
Cannot leave once the tournament goes live: Once the tournament status changes to 'live', your seat is permanently locked. No cancellation or refund is possible at that point.
Cannot rejoin after leaving: Once you leave a multi-stage tournament, you cannot re-register for the same tournament.
Slot Reservation
- • Slot reservation fees are deducted at the time of reservation
- • You may change who fills your slot (swap teammates) until the tournament begins
- • If the tournament is cancelled by the platform, your slot reservation fee is fully refunded
- • Voluntary cancellation of a reserved slot follows the same rules as tournament entry above
Premium Subscription Cancellation
EsportsChamp premium features are purchased through Google Play Billing (managed by RevenueCat). To cancel your subscription:
How to Cancel
- Open Google Play Store on your Android device
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions
- Select Subscriptions → find EsportsChamp
- Tap Cancel subscription and confirm
No refund after cancellation: Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Premium features remain active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Gem Purchase Cancellation
Once a Gem package purchase is completed and Gems are delivered to your wallet, the transaction is final and cannot be cancelled. Gems have no monetary value and cannot be refunded as cash.
- You may cancel a purchase before completing payment on the Google Play checkout screen
- After Gems are delivered, cancellation is not possible — see our Refund Policy for technical error exceptions
Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account directly from within the EsportsChamp app — no need to contact support.
In-App Deletion Steps
- Open EsportsChamp and go to your Profile
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Read the warning — deletion is permanent and irreversible
- Tap Confirm on the confirmation screen
- Your account is permanently deleted immediately
⚠ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no recovery period.
What Is Deleted
- • Account, email, username, and profile photo
- • Coin and Gem balance (forfeited — not refundable)
- • Tournament history, season stats, and badges
- • Team memberships and invitations
- • Community chat messages
- • Game KYC verification record (IGN and game UID)
- • Transaction records (for tax and legal obligations)
- • Anonymised fraud-prevention data
- • Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics
