When you create an account

When you play on the platform
- • Tournaments you join, your results and scores
- • Your coin and gem balance and transaction history
- • Season Rank Points, leaderboard position, and badges
- • Team memberships and daily login activity
- • Messages you send in community chat
Game KYC (in-game verification)
- • Your in-game name (IGN) and game UID / player ID (BGMI or Free Fire)
- • KYC status: pending / approved / rejected
- • This verifies your game account matches your platform profile
- • We do not collect government-issued IDs or any identity documents
Device information
- • Device type, OS version, and app version (to keep the app working for you)
- • Push notification token (to send you tournament alerts)
- • Advertising ID (used by Google AdMob for ads — you can opt out in Android settings)
2. How We Use It
We use your information only to run the platform and improve your experience. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Running tournaments
We use your details to register you for tournaments, share room codes, track scores, and distribute prizes.
Wallet & rewards
We track your coin and gem balance to process entries, award winnings, and handle reward redemptions.
Notifications
We send push notifications and emails for tournament updates, prize alerts, OTP verification, and important account activity.
Safety & fairness
We monitor for cheating, multi-accounts, and community chat violations to keep the platform fair for everyone.
Ads
Google AdMob shows ads in the app. Watching rewarded ads earns you coins. Ads may be personalised based on your Advertising ID (opt out anytime in Android Settings → Privacy).
3. Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share data with the following services that help us operate the platform:
Google (Firebase & AdMob)
Used for login, push notifications, and ads. Google's privacy policy applies.
RevenueCat & Google Play
Handles your in-app gem purchases. We do not see or store your payment card details.
Image hosting
Your profile photo and tournament images are stored securely with a third-party image service.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website to understand how visitors use the site. No personal information is identified.
4. Your Rights
Access your data
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you by emailing us.
Update your information
Edit your display name and profile photo directly from the app.
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from inside the app. See Section 5 below.
Opt out of personalised ads
Go to Android Settings → Privacy → Ads and reset or opt out of your Advertising ID.
Opt out of marketing emails
Use the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
5. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account directly from the app — no need to contact support.
How to delete
- Open EsportsChamp → go to your Profile
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Read the warning — deletion is permanent
- Tap Confirm
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
The following is removed immediately:
- • Your account, email, username, and profile photo
- • All coins and gems (forfeited — not refundable)
- • Tournament history, badges, and season stats
- • Team memberships and chat messages
- • Game KYC verification record
We retain transaction records only as required by law for tax and compliance purposes.
