How Seasons Work
Season Starts
A new competitive season begins. The leaderboard resets. Every player starts at zero Rank Points. The grind begins.
Compete & Earn RP
Every tournament you enter and win earns you Rank Points (RP). Higher placement = more RP. Kills count too. Track your rank in the Season widget on the home screen.
Climb the Ladder
Watch your season rank in real-time. The more you play, the higher you rise. Top players earn bonus coins throughout the season.
Season Ends
When the countdown hits zero, the season locks. Your final rank is captured permanently. No more RP can be earned for that season.
Receive Your Season Badge
Based on your final rank, you receive the corresponding season badge — permanently added to your profile. It never disappears.
New Season, New Goals
The next season kicks off. Can you climb higher? Can you grab Championship? The ladder resets but your earned badges stay forever.

CHAMPIONSHIP
Reserved for the absolute elite — the top-ranked player at season's end. One per season.
GRANDMASTER
Top tier — for players who dominated all season and finished in the highest bracket.
MYTHIC
Awarded to players who maintained top Rank Points throughout the entire season.
LEGENDARY
For consistent performers who climbed high in the leaderboard rankings.
EPIC
Awarded to players in the upper-mid tier bracket of the season leaderboard.
DIAMOND
Diamond-tier season badge — strong performance throughout the competitive season.
PLATINUM
Solid placement for players who showed up and competed consistently all season.
GOLD
Entry-level season badge — just completing the season earns you Gold. The foundation badge.
Badges are assigned permanently at season end based on your final Rank Points position.

Seasons FAQ
How is my Season Rank calculated?
Your Season Rank is based on cumulative Rank Points (RP) earned across all tournament participations during the season. Placement and kill count in each match contribute to RP.
Do season badges expire?
No. Season badges are permanent and tied to your profile forever. They show which season you earned them in, so each season gives you a new badge to collect.
Can I earn multiple badges in one season?
You earn one season badge per season based on your final rank. However, you can also earn Tournament, Event, and Special badges separately at any time.
What happens to my leaderboard rank at season end?
Your season rank is locked when the season ends. The season leaderboard stays viewable in Season History. When the next season starts, the competitive leaderboard resets to zero.
How do I see my current season rank?
Open the EsportsChamp app. Your current season rank and Rank Points are shown on the home screen in the Season widget. Tap it for full details.
Is there a way to see past seasons?
Yes. The Season History section in the app shows all past seasons, your rank, badges earned, and stats from each completed season.
