Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of EsportsChamp — India's mobile esports tournament platform. Please read carefully before participating in any tournaments.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EsportsChamp ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Key Reminder: EsportsChamp is a skill-based competitive gaming platform. Virtual coins and gems have no monetary value. No gambling or real-money wagering is involved.

2. User Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years old, or 13+ with parental consent
  • Platform is available in India; users must comply with local laws
  • One account per person — multiple accounts are prohibited
  • Must provide a valid email address and accurate username
  • Must not be currently banned from the platform

3. Gems & Coins Policy

Neither Gems nor Coins have any real monetary value. They cannot be withdrawn, sold, gifted, or converted to cash under any circumstances.

Gems

  • • Purchased via Google Play (RevenueCat)
  • • Used to unlock premium tournament entries
  • • Non-transferable between accounts
  • • Non-refundable once delivered (see Refund Policy)
  • • Expire if account is permanently deleted

Coins

  • • Earned (never directly purchased)
  • • Sources: tournament wins, daily login bonus, referrals, watching rewarded ads, admin credits, seasonal events
  • • Used for tournament entry fees and reward redemption
  • • Non-transferable and non-refundable as cash

How Coins Are Credited

  • • Daily Reward: Log in every day to claim a coin bonus; streaks may multiply rewards
  • • Tournament Win: Coins based on kill count and final placement
  • • Referral: Earn bonus coins when a friend you referred joins and plays
  • • Watch Ads: Watch a rewarded video ad to instantly earn coins
  • • Admin Credit: Bonus coins may be granted by platform administrators for events or corrections

4. Account Rules

  • You are responsible for all activity on your account
  • Keep your credentials confidential — do not share with others
  • Login is via email + password or email OTP — no third-party login
  • Use your real in-game IGN as your username — impersonation is banned
  • Report suspicious activity immediately to support@esportschamp.in
  • Buying, selling, or transferring accounts is strictly prohibited
  • Automated bots or scripts accessing the platform are prohibited

5. Tournament Participation

Classic

Single match. Solo / duo / squad. Results based on kills + final placement. Entry fee deducted at registration; coins credited after result is published.

Arena

Fast-format match. Higher emphasis on kills. Same entry and result rules as Classic.

Multi-Stage

Bracket tournament with multiple rounds. Top teams by points advance per round. You may leave only before your Round 1 stage starts. Entry fee is refunded if you leave before the stage begins.

Participation Rules

  • • All tournaments are skill-based — wins are determined by in-game performance
  • • Room ID and Password are published in the app before match start
  • • Players must join the custom room before the slot deadline
  • • No-shows result in disqualification; entry fee is forfeited
  • • Results are verified by platform admins after each match
  • • Screenshots may be required to resolve disputed results
  • • If a tournament is cancelled by the platform, all entry fees are refunded as coins

6. Teams & Slot Reservation

EsportsChamp supports Solo (1 player), Duo (2 players), and Squad (4 players) team formats.

  • Team leaders can invite, remove, and manage members
  • Invited members may accept or reject team invitations
  • Members can voluntarily leave a team at any time
  • Each team member must have an active EsportsChamp account
  • You may belong to multiple teams across different game modes
  • In a single tournament you may only participate with one team

Slot Reservation

  • • Reserve a specific slot in a tournament before registration closes
  • • Invite teammates into your reserved slot via the Invite screen
  • • Slot changes are allowed up until the tournament begins
  • • Slot entry fee is deducted at the time of reservation

7. Seasons & Badges

  • Each season has a fixed start and end date; the leaderboard resets each new season
  • Rank Points (RP) are earned from tournament participation during a season
  • At season end, a permanent badge is assigned based on your final RP: Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Grandmaster, or Championship
  • Badges are permanently linked to your profile and cannot be removed
  • Additional badges (Tournament, Event, Special) may be awarded for other achievements
  • We reserve the right to adjust RP scoring methods between seasons with notice
  • RP cannot be transferred between accounts or seasons

8. Rewards & KYC Verification

  • Rewards include gaming accessories, Amazon/Flipkart gift vouchers, in-game items (UC, Diamonds), and exclusive merchandise
  • Reward availability is subject to stock and may change without notice
  • Rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money
  • Digital rewards are delivered within 24–48 hours; physical items within 5–7 business days

KYC Requirement

Certain rewards require completed game KYC verification. Game KYC verifies your in-game name (IGN) and game UID/player ID (BGMI or Free Fire) under Profile → KYC. KYC is reviewed by our admin team within 1–3 business days. Reward claims submitted without valid KYC will be held pending verification.

  • Reward claims have a status: pending → approved → completed (or rejected)
  • Rejected claims will include a reason; you may resubmit after resolving the issue

9. Community Chat

EsportsChamp includes a real-time community chat available to all registered users.

  • Profanity filtering is applied automatically to all messages
  • Chat messages are stored to enable moderation
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, spam, and NSFW content are strictly prohibited
  • Sharing personal information of other users in chat is prohibited
  • Advertising external services or platforms in chat is prohibited
  • Violations may result in chat bans or account suspension

10. Prohibited Conduct

Gaming Violations

  • • Using hacks, aimbots, or unauthorized software
  • • Exploiting bugs or glitches for unfair advantage
  • • Match fixing or win trading
  • • Entering a tournament with multiple accounts
  • • Sharing room codes with outsiders

Account Violations

  • • Creating multiple accounts
  • • Buying, selling, or transferring accounts
  • • Impersonating another player
  • • Using automated bots or scripts
  • • Attempting to reverse-engineer the app

Community Violations

  • • Harassment, hate speech, or bullying
  • • Sharing NSFW or illegal content
  • • Spamming or scamming other users
  • • Disclosing other users' personal information

Reward / Financial Abuse

  • • Fraudulent reward redemption claims
  • • Initiating chargebacks without contacting support
  • • Attempting to manipulate coin earnings
  • • Game KYC fraud — submitting a fake game account or IGN

11. Account Suspension & Bans

WarningIssued for first-time minor violations. No access restriction.
Temporary Suspension7–30 days for moderate violations. Account access blocked during suspension.
Permanent BanFor severe, repeated, or fraudulent violations. All coins, gems, and badges are forfeited.
Immediate BanFor cheating, hacking, KYC fraud, or illegal activity. No warning issued.

Appeals: Submit an appeal within 30 days to support@esportschamp.in. Include your username and a description of your case. Appeals are reviewed within 7–14 business days. Our decision is final.

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from within the app at any time (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

  • All personal data, profile, and game history are permanently deleted
  • Any remaining coin or gem balance is forfeited — no refund is issued
  • Transaction records are retained for legal compliance
  • Account deletion does not entitle you to a refund of gem purchases

13. Limitation of Liability

  • The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation
  • Gems and coins have no monetary value — no compensation is owed for lost in-app currency due to technical issues (other than re-crediting the lost coins/gems)
  • We are not liable for losses caused by third-party services (RevenueCat, Firebase, Cloudinary, AdMob)
  • Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in gem purchases in the preceding 3 months
  • Not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Force Majeure: We are not liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Terms Updates: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Last updated: June 2026.
